Covid – what is it good for? Apparently as some as found out, long walks and plenty of them!

It was during the height of the pandemic that Alex & Toms paths crossed. They met on a responsible, socially distanced walk up the stunning Pamela Hill. Their relationship began that very day, on top of that spectacular hill. The socially-distanced dog walks evolved to less socially-distanced dinner dates without a mask in sight! Let’s just say the dates were as spicy as the chilli concarn. Their relationship blossomed quickly, fun times were plentiful and hearts were a flutter.

Tom & Alex share a love of planning the Saturday morning park run. But, after much consideration, enthusiasm, alarm setting, their attempts are always ruined by an unplanned sleep in. As a result, ‘Balto Boy’ their beloved pooch, cops 20 mins of heavy play and then 10 minutes debating their different tastes in movies!

They have managed to squeeze in some death-defying moments as well, (nearly being wiped out driving to Cairns, nearly dying of Covid not once but twice to nearly passing out when they saw the outdoor dining set that their beloved Balto ate).

Another major highlight was the day Tom dropped to his good knee but not before Alex sent him numerous images of rings that just happened to pop up on her news feed! After just 18months Tom well and truly got the hint and it was finally celebrations all round!
