In this day and age anyone looking for love doesn’t need to hang around seedy bars to the wee hours or wait for someone to hook them up on a blind date! We now have the pleasure to peruse new talent in the privacy of our own home and check out flatmates.com! Nathan and Chelsea unknown to one another were both on the move to Mackay back in 2018. It was both their real so called proper jobs after years at Uni. After swiping right and meeting up outside the prospective apartment they decided to join forces and hopefully find others flatmates to share the load. Chelsea was pleasantly surprised when Nathan rocked up looking way better then his profile pic! Nathan knew instantly he was punching above his weight and tried to act all cool!

Besides being instantly drawn to each other it was kept purely professional and a lease was signed then and there. Not knowing a soul in town, they pretty much spent every waking moment together and realised early on they were more then just housemates. They even had a so called official first date which turned out to be the 2nd dingiest bar in Mackay! Not sure they have ever been back! Eventually they got other housemates but kept their relationship on the low down. It was only their nearest and dearest that had an inkling that flames had ignited!

Hence, fun times were plentiful, hearts were a flutter and life in Mackay was pretty damn good!

Another major highlight was the day Nathan dropped to his good knee and declared his undying love. It all unfolded on a small charter boat on the Brissy river. When the champagne popped so did the question. It was celebrations all round and the start of a new and exciting future. Nathans sister was lined up for the engagement shoot straight after which took place at the Botanic gardens together with Heidi their beloved Golden Retriever.
