We need to rewind the clocks all the way back to those pre-mobile phone days of 1987! Mahdi, went to school with Gav’s sister Rebecca & with the added bonus of a hot-to-trot brother! Their all-girls school was alongside the local all-boys school and I hear Mahdi would turn herself inside out trying to catch a glimpse of the smoking hot Gav!

It wouldn’t be until some 20 years later when good old Facebook made an appearance that their worlds collided again! Mahdi didn’t waste anytime fiddling with her keyboard and reached out to Gav. At the time Gav was traveling across the Nullabor with his dog Chase & was pleasantly surprised to see the now much more mature, sensible, stylish Mahdi pop up! He was tempted to turn his car around then and there.

Gav dumped his current girlfriend and quickly  lined up a date with the bubbly blonde Mahdi. Mahdi easily won him over with her saucy beef nachos and the rest is history!
