As quoted in Dumb and Dumber ‘Some lucky guy…’. It was my lucky day alright. Right place, right time and right job.

Not only did I get to photograph this stunning couple, I attended a very personalised ceremony by the Champagne Celebrant at the Noosa Marina and then rode with Brad and Rachel down Noosa River. Yes, all the way to the entrance in the coolest speed boat I have ever seen.

On top of that, the guests were treated to a ferry ride from the Marina to meet us down at the entrance. Very excellent.

The newlyweds were full of beans and keen to play around for the lens. Lots of screams of delight and a few champagnes brought the afternoon to a close in record time. Too quick to fully appreciate the surrounding but fortunately it was all captured by the ever reliable Nikons.

Even though the rains had only just petered out in the morning, the afternoon turned out perfectly. It really begs the question why so many couples decide on a summer wedding when winter is so perfect.
